Mindy Williams, a woman who Nighthawk accidentally crippled many years ago in a drunk driving accident, returns to haunt him by sending robot versions of herself to kill him. She also has gas that incites riots and hypnotizes cops.
In the end, she relents and goes to receive mental health treatment.
It’s a fairly sophisticated (albeit melodramatic) and very, very dark story for Marvel Team-Up, which is usually just about having two heroes fight and then having them both take on a villain.
