Time for a space adventure.
Gladiator sends the team, via portal, to a space station.
Everyone is dead there–slaughtered–except for Deathbird.
The enemy is The Phalanx, and long story short the team ends up defeating them.
Along the way, Bishop and Deathbird seem to have a bit of thang going on.
The alien race isn’t heard from again for a long time. Here’s the big win shot…
Throughout these issues there’s more of the Graydon Creed stuff, but honestly it’s good to have a space epic at this point–just a big fighting adventure where subplots don’t matter much. A development that kinda matters in that story is that Bastion now has Jubilee captured.
