Dazzler gets recruited to help boost record sales for an aging musician, blah blah blah. Two things about these two issues: In #29, we get a forgotten power set. Dazzler can look directly at the sun without going blind. She tells her sister Lois, the future Mortis, about it while lounging by the pool in a bikini because this book was so cheesecake.
The aging rocker story ends in issue #30, which also features Assistant Editors Month. Dazzler saves Ralph Macchio at comic-con from getting eaten by a dinosaur. Actually, a demon named Zalme.
It’s a cute little story. But the best parts are people actually wanting a a signed copy of a U.S. 1 comic (are we sure this isn’t a What If?!?) and the part where Ralph goes power mad…
