Jim Starlin(!) guest illustrates this issue, in which a dimensional rift enables Genis-Vell to meet Mar-Vell from an alternate universe. But at first Genis thinks it’s a time rift and he’s actually meeting his father.

I do love me a Jim Starlin fight scene.

They beat each other up and then chat and then beat up alternate Thanos together. It’s a really good issue. I kind of wish it was really the 616 Marvel instead of an alternate reality one.
