The Haunt of Horror magazine was largely a generic horror magazine, but it had a few Earth 616 stories. The first came in #2, which introduced Gabriel the Devil-Hunter. Doug Moench and Billy Graham created the character as an exorcist action hero. Marvel even promoted him in its 4-color comics. Gabriel had done-in-one stories in all these issue.
These issues also had a multi-part Satana story where she takes on a group of animal-looking sorcerers, in addition to done-in-ones.
This is a very niche book, and I’m not a part of that niche. I skimmed through these stories pretty quickly–looking only for things that “mattered,” like the introduction of new characters.
It lasted only 5 issues.
