Storywise, Tony Stark was just shot and is now paralyzed from the waist down. Good thing he’s got armor that can help him walk! But instead of wearing it, he tries to get Rhodey to wear it, but James says he never really liked being Iron Man. So he gets another employee—Clayton Wilson, formerly known as Force—to wear the stealth armor and take on The Fixer, who was hired by Roxxon Corporation to go after Stark International.
By the end of the issue, Tony is back in armor again and able to walk around in it.
