Steve Englehart’s run was not without humor. Also, for the first time in his run, Englehart does a two part story. After fighting some muggers in the street, Luke gets hired by a mystery employer to take care of a few things, he does, and when he seeks to collect, his employer defaults.
Yes, this is the classic arc, in which Luke Cage stomps all over Latveria for $200. And calls him, “Honey.”
I’m with Doc! Chasing around the world for two hundred clams isn’t very cost-effective! I thought ol’ Luke was smarter than that!
