Technically, Japan’s Big Hero 6 team debuted in their own miniseries, which came out before this issue, but the miniseries begins after this story ends.
Sunfire is in Canada, having been experimented on by Department H. He’s angry at Dept H for betraying him during those experiments, but he’s interrupted by a distress call from Japan. There’s a bunch of arguing with the end result being Alpha Flight helping Big Hero 6 fight a monster invading Japan.
The cliffhanger is that a new Weapon X has escaped Department H.
Oh, and somewhere along the line the beast version of Sasquatch has been replaced by the actual Walter Langkowski version.
This book is going downhill fast.
