Pirates ruin a Carribean vacation for Tony Stark and his most trusted staffers.
The villain is the inventor Clay Wilson, from way, way back in Sub-Mariner volume 1, who now has armor and calls himself “Force.”
He is an employee of Justin Hammer, the industrialist who is trying to ruin Stark and was behind his armor misfiring and killing an ambassador way back in the Demon in the Bottle story.
Apparently, he’s also a drug runner, which doesn’t make a whole lot of sense unless you see him as a criminal virtuoso capable of industrial espionage, technological genius similar to Stark, masterminding super-criminal assaults and, yes, getting drugs into Florida by boat.
The best part is Hammer’s shark-sub.
