Do you like those A&E docs that parade horrible lives in front of you for an hour? Then you’ll love this. Muties was a six-issue miniseries, where each issue showed a mutant suffering somewhere in the world. Each issue had a different artist.
It was pretty well written and some of the artists are now big names, but these kinds of “slice of life” stories are really hard to pull off. I just didn’t find the series very compelling.
