DAREDEVIL #192 (1983)

Frank Miller is gone, but Marvel recruits inker Klaus Janson to try to keep his momentum going.  Sadly, as much as I respect Janson as an artist, it doesn’t really work.  It’s not bad, it just feels unoriginal.

The story is basically the same as Miller’s famous “Guts” story, in which Daredevil follows Foggy Nelson around and protects him behind the scenes.  Here, he’s protecting Ben Urich, the Daily Bugle reporter who is his friend, as Kingpin tries to get revenge on him for some unflattering press.
