Marvel Comics Presents #54-55 (1990): Shroud, Collective Man, and Speedball

Issue #54 has Steve Ditko drawing Shroud, and it’s lame. Let’s not talk about it. Issue #55 has Collective Man arguing with himself as his various bodies visit their mom, on her deathbed.

it’s a neat way to set him up–and it’s pretty similar to how Peter David would use Madrox in his X-Factor run. I liked it, even if it was short and didn’t develop very much.

Shroud: D.
Collective Man: C+
