Very heavy plotting in this issue, but the bottom line is that Rick chooses the strength of his friendship with Hulk over the classically heroic relationship with Captain America.
Really, the law wants to take Marlo, believing her responsible for murder, and Rick is trying to stop them.
Hulk’s on Rick, Marlo and Betty’s side of course.
This leads to a Hulk vs Cap fight, and I love the shot of the tourists, with Japanese characters, and subtitles! I understand that some found this to be racist, but I don’t really understand why. In comics, most non-powered civilians are either in danger or used for comedy relief.
In the end, the comatose Marlo finally awakens.
