Hulk spends most of issue #109 breaking things and fighting the army. He grabs a missile, redirects it down, and it blows a hole in the earth deep enough to go to the Savage Land. Where of course he fights Ka-Zar and Zabu until they decide to work together.
He the works with Ka-Zar to fight the creations of a mysterious alien machine.
He “dies” at the end of #110. But no of course he doesn’t.
In #111, the aliens return to claim their machine, take Hulk, and he frees a bunch of aliens from another group of bad aliens.
