We get the full story in this series: The V-Batallion are a bunch of WWII heroes (and villains) who formed a team after the war and fight crime with the goal of making the world a better place.
The art is terrible, but my favorite villain makes an appearance.

In the end, we learn that Helmut Zemo is possessing John Watkins’ body–Watkins is the descendant of the original Citizen V.

Again, I don’t care that much. It’s not bad, but it’s not something I found particularly interesting.
