The Inhumans hidden city of the Great Refuge is the mountains around China so, of course, that means Mandarin has to come around. Which means we get this great Jack Kirby splash page:
The Inhumans take him out and steal his rings.
It’s not lost on me that this a solo Jack Kirby joint in which he has his personal creations take out the arch-enemy of one of the only Marvel main characters that Kirby is not responsible for (Iron Man).
Meanwhile, on the letters page, future DC editor and Legion of Super Heroes writer Paul Levitz makes an appearance.
Marvel really was saving money on letterhead banners I guess, given the similarity between this one and Astonishing Tales’ banner.
