Here’s a three-issue miniseries by two guys from Croatia who many of you have probably never heard of (although Danijel Zezelj did do some well-reviewed work for Vertigo).
Is it good? Yes!
Cap fights a cocaine militia in the South American jungle.
He spends most of the story out of costume. It’s a short, gritty story that, frankly, could have been a little longer–and it would have been much better. They could have added some more details about the militia, the U.S. Army’s role, why Cap is there in the first place, etc.
As it stands, though, it’s a solid and pretty obscure story.
