The new Rhino wants to kill the old one so that he’s the Highlander of Rhinos. But Aleksei Sytsevich is retired. He refuses to engage, even when Rhino 2 fights Spider-Man and kills a poor horse.
Rhino 2 gets away in the end, with Spider-Man swearing to track him down and stop him so that Aleksei can enjoy his retirement.
I get having compassion for people, but Rhino has caused a lot of harm and carnage in the past. How is he not in prison?
We end with Ana Kravinoff continuing to torture her prisoner, Madame Web, for information about Spider-Man foes so that she can keep engineering all these Gauntlet fights.
