It’s also done as a comedy–which I guess was lost on some people. Or offended them. I dunno. There’s a bunch of controversy about the comic, but I thought it was good for what it was. Probably the world wasn’t ready for it in 2003. Even Brokeback Mountain didn’t come out for another two years.
