On the way to his bachelor party, Cyclops and Cable have to stop X-Cutioner from killing the wounded Emma Frost.
But before that, Cable tries to work out some daddy issues with his father, who (a) isn’t his father yet but might be in a future timeline; (b) had good reasons for “abandoning him” in the future that Cable is from; and (c) might never actually be Cable’s dad if the timeline changes.
Still, it’s nice to see the (often mindless) Cable having some questions for his possible dad.
Cable reconciles at the end of the issue.
…And gets Cyke to his party.
This is clearly the more interesting story in issue #310. The X-Cutioner battle is what it is.
