A very odd Mysterio story title, “Spider-Man Goes Mad.” Mysterio, without the fishbowl, drives Spider-Man crazy. Literally. Really not much to say here, but it’s a good comic.
What I love about this is the Ditko hallucination illustrations. Some of them are clear: Sandman, Vulture.
But then there’s these random creepy images at the sides of the panels….Like the black cat above. And an upsidedown sequence–I think the first every in comics.
Very psychedelic. Very cool. Very Ditko.
