This issue has Cannonball busting his relatives out of prison because he was given a memory in Genosha that they committed a crime and Cannonball wants to know why.
Seriously? Cannonball commits a major felony just because he as questions about his family? Why didn’t he just go talk on visiting day?
Anyway, of course his Uncle was actually committing the crime for noble reasons. It would have been a much richer and morally complex story if he’d been an actual criminal. I know that Cannonball has been a character that several writers have tried to work with, giving him a messianic future connected to the X-Ternals, e.g., but it’s just not working for me.
