Tony Stark has bought out Cord Conglomerates, and while going through some old inventory, Scott Lang finds an old suit of Mauler armor.
It is promptly stolen by another Stark employee by the name of Doyle, who takes James Rhodes hostage and then Iron Man saves the day.
Doyle escapes in the end, meaning Mauler is on the loose.
