In #23, Nightcrawler gets shipwrecked and plays Tarzan on a desert island. He meets some natives who are about to sacrifice a woman to their Gods and he rescues her.
Issue #24 (pictured above), Jean Grey goes on a vacation and Mastermind uses his powers to trick her into kissing him. Men using mind control to basically rape women is a Marvel trope. I should have created a unique tag for it.
These back-up stories started strong but are weakening as the series gets older.
