Monster Madness was a (bad) humor comic about monsters, but in January 1973, Marvel hyped the hell out of it.
It signaled what would happen in 1973: An explosion of horror-type comics. Tomb of Dracula. Dracula Magazine. Ghost Rider. Vault of Evil. Frankenstein. And about a half-dozen more.
