I’ll start by saying: Goddamn is this a good issue. Eleven short stories, eleven different creative teams, eleven home runs.
Quick rundown:
First, Deadpool gambles and murders a target on the casino floor.

He also flirts fabulously.
Second, indie noir creator David Lapham writes and illustrates a Maltese Falcon spoof/dream that features a host of guests and side characters like Hydra Bob. Third, Deadpool is forced to eat himself to obesity in the most bizarre tale of the lot, by Rick Remender and Jerome Opena. Then, the Deadpool Corps help “Mimepool” (a silent version of Deadpool) stop a cosmic calamity that spoofs D.C’s “Blackest Night” Green Lantern event, that was running when this issue came out. Fifth comes a brief 2-pager by Peter Bagge, followed by Howard Chaykin’s contribution.

It’s very dark. A kid at a bar mitzvah hires Deadpool to kill an adult who seems to be sexually abusing another kid, a 12-year-old girl, who the client has a crush on.
Story seven has Doctor Doom unfriending Deadpool on Facebook…

…After which Deadpool forces Marvel editor Axel Alonso to hire him as an artist so he can produce unflattering Doctor Doom comics.

Next, Canada tries to hire him as a new Captain Canada. Then, a Western tale by Cullen Bunn and Matteo Scalera. Story #10 is the weirdest one: Michael Kupperman has a God named “Hotpants Zeus” create several pages of Deadpool versions created by a talking urinal…

…And then has them all fight.
Finally, we end with Dean Haspiel’s story and … I confess, this one went over my head. It was entertaining though. And that’s not all! There’s a bunch of satirical tribute comic book covers replacing the titular hero with Deadpool. This one was my favorite…

They’re all great though. Most of the time, humor comics suck. This one is fantastic.
