In the mid-1980s, Hawkeye used these flying bikes a lot–I didn’t realize they dated all the way back to the early Avengers issues. In his first solo series (a 4-issue book written and penciled by the great Mark Gruenwald), it kinda turned into Hawkeye’s signature mode of transport.
