Character: Crusher Creel (Absorbing Man)

If he touches something, he can take on its properties.  This has suited him well when he touched Captain America’s shield, but not as well when he fell in the ocean and was dispersed across the globe.

That wasn’t the end of him, though.  He went on to marry Titania.  He also had an illegitimate son, who became Stonewall of Nick Fury’s Secret Warriors.
