Amazing splash page.
Bullseye goes full-mental, and sees Daredevil everywhere. It’s like when Bugs Bunny is hungry and everyone he sees is a hot dog, only it’s Bullseye and Daredevil.
This is the first issue where Frank Miller gets full writer credit, and it’s genius.
We also learn that Bullseye has a legit brain issue.
The final fight is on the tracks of a NYC subway, and we see Daredevil wondering whether to let Bullseye die.
This is good seeding of the character–as he will, eventually, let Bullseye fall and nearly die–at the conclusion of the Elektra story, which this is part of, and which is one of the best Frank Miller stories of all time and part of the second best Daredevil story of all time (full list here).
