Now that the team is “broken up,” everyone is getting solo adventures. Last issue it was Johnny Storm. Now, it’s Thing. This two-parter was written by Bill Mantlo and introduced Keith Pollard to FF fans. He’s not as detailed as Perez, but he certainly draws good muscular fight scenes, eh?
Diablo returns from the “dead” because villains never really die and conjures Darkoth, Dr. Doom’s patsy, who appears to die in the end.
And Impossible Man is around.
Meanwhile, Susan and Franklin have gone to Hollywood so she can pursue acting(?!). Impy, what with his new love of all things television, is along for the ride.
