Peter and MJ have their first big kiss. I thought Conway handled that really well, and extra kudos to the editors who decided not to put little captions on the bottom of the page to sell other Marvel titles. I love those little words-and I miss them, even-but sometimes it’s best not to clutter the bottom panels with ads.
Also: Peter follows J. Jonah Jameson to France where Spidey fights The Cyclone, in his first appearance.
As a villain, he seems to be an excuse for Ross Andru to use scribble scrabble and save time. Whirlwind is much better.
And then at the end, it’s a cliffhanger to the first clone story,
