Jan switches powers with Hank, which makes Hank treat her like a child. I really dislike what passes for flirting in this comic.
These issues are bad. The main stories, which feature silly and stupid villains like El Toro (above) and The Magician…
…each of whom will be used exactly one more time by Marvel) and the return of Human Top, who steals Pym Particles to become Giant Human Top. That’s cool.
A note about the scene above: Unstable Molecules were created way back in Fantastic Four #6, and Pym was using them for his Giant-Man costume, but I guess he wasn’t sharing them with Wasp. He’s such a heel. He probably just wanted to see her nekkid.
The backups, written and drawn by Larry Lieber, are awful. They’re basically Tales of the Watcher Wasp, where Jan tells stories of aliens and crap like that. How does she even know them? I don’t know.
Creators: Stan and Dick Ayers (#52-53, GM/W stories), Stan and Don Heck (#53, GM/W story), Larry Lieber (writer/artist on all Tales of the Wasp stories)
