Issue #39 is part two of the story begun in What If? #13. Four years later story was so great and fondly remembered that Alan Zelenetz and Ron Wilson revisited it in a less-good, but still pretty neat, story in which Conan returns to our universe.

Unlike the first story, there’s no way part 2 was canon. So it’s not clear that Crom, the God of Conan comics, can actually lift Thor’s hammer…
