Reed and Sue go to the opera while Thing, Torch, Cannonball and Wolverine play poker. Beast and Dr. Reyes happen to be at the same opera when Reed is attacked by a jealous scientist who thinks Reed stole his ideas. The evil scientist has, himself, stolen Psycho Man’s tech.
Psycho Man shows up at the Baxter building looking for his stuff–breaking up the poker game–while the others experience the psychosis from the stolen Psycho-Man tech.
It’s a fun annual. I dig Psycho-Man, and I like that the scientist accuses Reed of stealing his tech while he himself stole from Psycho-Man.
Note: The FF got their own annual in 1998 as well. This issue came out in July, the other annual, here, arrived in December.
