PUNISHER KILLS THE MARVEL UNIVERSE (1995)
Garth Ennis’ first Punisher comic isn’t his best, but it was groundbreaking. You can see the origins of Ennis’ “The Boys” comic here: In this universe, Frank Castle’s family is killed as collateral damage during another big superhero battle, and he becomes Punisher to get revenge. It’s simple. It’s funny. It’s creative. It’s amazing.
