X-23, Wolverine, and (depowered) Jubilee look into some attacks on mutants in New York, and the trail leads to a crew Laura used to run with and a Gamesmaster subplot.
This is a one-and-done, so there’s not much space for anything that matters. The most important thing about this one-shot is that we get to see how Marjorie Liu writes without Daniel Way–and she’s much better on her own.
