Jason Aaron and Adam Kubert do an extended “Marvel Team-Up” of the publisher’s two most popular characters. Yes, please.
The miniseries has the two characters thrown across time when they try to stop a heist by The Orb and accidentally release the power of his loot: “Time Diamonds.”
They first go to the past, where Logan becomes a leader of a tribe of cavemen, and then into the future where they meet a robot version of Devil Dinosaur. They also fight Doctor Doom. Logan gets a chance to meet his mommy and become Phoenix.
Peter gets stuck for three years in the 18th Century and nearly gets married (which makes the SECOND time he’s had his marriage annulled by magic!).
And of course, in the end, they’re back to their own time and the whole thing is behind them.
It’s a fun, albeit inconsequential, ride with terrific art.
