Nation X was a brief, anthology-style miniseries focusing on life on the new Utopia island made from the crashed-to-earth remains of Asteroid X. Issue issue featured four, unrelated and self-contained short stories.
Issue #1 started with Simon Spurrier and Leonard Kirk showing Magneto debate an old, interactive hologram of himself–comparing his philosophy now to the one he had when formed Asteroid M.
It’s not all that different.
Story #2 is a road trip with Wolverine and Nightcrawler illustrated by the great Mike Allred. Next, Iceman gets some screentime. Finally, Batman writer Scott Snyder plays with the X-toys as Colossus helps Magik with gardening and makes a stone sculpture in tribute to Kitty Pryde.
None of these stories are long enough to be either great or terrible. For completists only.
