Me, I think this is just Marvel’s attempt to rebrand the “Brother” as a “Doctor” because calling a black guy “Brother” in his name isn’t much better than calling him “Black” (e.g., Black Lightning, Black Goliath, etc.). But you don’t get to be called “Doctor” unless you studied for it.
