This is not an X-Men story. It’s a Starjammers story. And it’s boring. And it’s not really a story, it’s a prelude to War of Kings.
Taking place right after Vulcan took over the Shi’ar Empire, it begins with Lorna and Havok still held captive.
The story has those two X-Men and the Starjammers, along wit Rachel Summers, trying to stop Vulcan from taking over more of the galaxy. When they fail, they join up with the Kree to re-engage.
It introduces a new symbiote named Zzzxx, who serves Vulcan.
Meanwhile, Ronan goes to tattle about it all to Black Bolt–and kneels before him, as he would kneed before a king.
That’s where it ends, and where War of Kings begins.
