MOON KNIGHT: SILENT KNIGHT (2009)

When I think of Christmas, I think of a guy dressed in white punching bad guys and stabbing them with small crescent razor blades.

If you’re like me, this is for you.

Moon Knight protects a department-store Santa who is being targeted by hitmen.

There’s also a brief back-up focusing on how much Marlene wants Moon Knight to stay in and give that good … You know … For Christmas.

She dreams up an alternate reality where she gets her wish and the results are interesting.

Marc Spector is sad without the violence in his life–which seems like a pretty telling insight into his character.

This one-shot is far, far better than I expected. The writing is tight and strong–like the best Peter Milligan scripts–and Laurence Campbell is a wonderful artist for this character.
