This is strange. The Free Comic Book Day offering for this year is basically a solo story that has Pixie rejoining the X-Men. I mean, she’s hardly a marquee name. It’s a weird way to exercise free promotion and attempt to pull in new readers.
That said, it’s a solid story. We’re reminded that she now has the Soulsword that used to belong to Magik. She fights some demons, the X-Men come to help for a scant four pages of action, they all save some people, and she gets invited by Cyclops to rejoin the team.
