“Venom” gets a moment in the spotlight. The former Scorpion meets up with Boomerang, Biohazard, Mister Hyde, and a few others. They have a few drinks, and Gargan finds himself plotting to quit the Thunderbolts. They also blackmail him, of course.
He lures Norman Osborn into a trap but of course, being the “Nick Fury” of crime, Osborn is already way ahead of them.
But the punch line is that Gargan had been working with Osborn all the time, setting up the criminals just to hand them over to him–along with some stolen Obidiah Stane tech.
Throughout the Thunderbolts series, Scorpion was the most disfavored of the group. This is his redemption in the eyes of Osborn.
