These three four-issue miniseries appear to me to be non-canon. They re-tell and reimagine three of Marvel’s major horror characters. Like Man-Thing, in this version, can literally melt a human’s face.
The Man-Thing mini is the best of the bunch. It’s told in old “EC Comics” style, complete with narration from Digger–Marvel’s answer to Frankenstein.
Nothing here is bad but it’s also all far from exceptional. If you like these characters, you’ll probably like the spins taken on them here–and the creators are a solid bunch. Notably, Chris Samnee is on art for Devil Slayer.
