I’ll say this right at the top of this article: I am a big fan of J. Michael Straczynski. I know he has many detractors, often for decent reasons, but I love how he plots and scripts. Just me.
This miniseries re-tells Doctor Strange’s origins, but diverges in some key ways. (For example, Doctor Strange loses his hands in a skiing accident.). But the changes make for a better story.
Nonetheless, I am pretty sure that this isn’t canon anymore–if it ever was.
