In this “all ages” series, fan favorite Jubilee quits the X-Men and goes to live in Los Angeles with her aunt. The issues have her adventures in the local high school that, predictably, is full of gang bangers and bullies.
Aunt Lee, whose first name is Hope, turns out to be an assassin with some cybernetically augmented parts—but she’s trying to go straight.
She gets most of the action in this book. Issue #6 ends with Hope injured—possibly killed—but the cliffhanger doesn’t get resolved because the series is cancelled.
