Three stories. First, Kitty in college facing anti-mutant sentiment, by the X-Treme X-Men team of Claremont and Larroca. She’s looking pin-up sexy on the cover, which is completely out of character.
It is hot tho’.
If you read into it, it’s also kinda cool: It’s in the “All American” style of Norman Rockwell, and Kitty is generally a fairly wholesome character. By sexing it up, it turns both Pryde and Rockwell on their respective heads.
Second, a short story featuring Magneto (surprise! he’s alive!).
Finally, Beast helps a cat-like person who Cerebra identifies as a mutant but, it turns out, is a cat mutant not a human mutant.
