Anyone reading this love the old movie The Substitute?
I did. This is basically The Punisher version. Look at that splash page above. Wouldn’t Tom Berenger have made a great Punisher?
My only criticism with the above splash page is that Punisher’s introspection has him cursing to himself. He’s not a guy who needs to use profanity—it feels out of synch with his overall character.
Kingpin has a street gang selling drugs in the school and doing other bad stuff. Punisher cleans it all up. Kingpin is discussed but doesn’t appear in the issue.
