After several long-form stories back-to-back, we get a done-in-one. The story gives Bruce Jones a chance to remind readers that Bruce Banner is still a wandering nomad on the run from the law. He meets a man at a diner who recognizes him and who claims to have been present at the original gamma bomb site, which gives Jones a chance to go over Hulk’s origin for the reader. It’s a good palette cleanser.
This issue is actually “Marvel Knights: The Incredible Hulk,” but that banner will be dropped in short order so I’m not changing the title.
