The team brings Power Pack to the moon to help The Inhumans defeat Maximus. Now, in the pages of Vision/Scarlet Witch and The Fantastic Four, Quicksilver has been a complete tool. This annual says that, no, he isn’t a complete jerk–he was being mind-controlled by Maximus.
The actions of Quicksilver, as written by Steve Englehart in the afore mentioned comics, have been ridiculous–attacking the Fantastic Four, including the mother of his child. Retconning them is kind of a good thing because Englehart’s portrayal was so ridiculous, but it’s also annoying to use a (ahem) Deus Ex Maximum to just write them out of history.
